Specific Attirbute – Technical Knowledge

This is important to the employer of rainbow light as there is a few different aspects of the job that has to be done that will require technical knowledge. The technical knowledge is important in this role and it will be valued by other members of staff and clients. You will be expected to use your technical knowledge when faced with a problem, and quickly come up with a solution. This is important to clients as they will be looking for help on some of the aspects and you need to be very technical to know what way to explain and what way to carry out the task. You will be able to demonstrate your skill in many ways to members of staff and clients through your work. You will need to be very technical when going out to clients houses as they have sight problems and you have to show the correct way to use the feature. The ability to mantain a database is important as you will be required to hold information and keep track of various situations. As well as keepiong track of the loaned CD’s, you will be required to show how to use and load them to the clients. You need to use your technical ability to know how to set up a blog and take control of displaying information for other staff members and to inform them. When at other homes, it is important to be able to explain the email feature to the clients in a formal manner. It is important to fully explain it and show them how it works.

 

General Attribute – Teamworking

 
Being able to work in a team is a big attribute that is valued alot by your employer, members of staff and clients. This attribute is massively important to your role as and at any point you could be asked to work in a team to partake in a task. It could also be valued by other staff members as when they are working in a team with you, they will value the fact that you are very comfortable and they to could be comfortable and the task would be made easier. The clients would then value this as they could be in the situation of getting something explained to them by a team of workers and they would want to be able to understand this.

 

Personal Attitudes – Determind

 
Being determined while doing your work is a very good attitude to have and is valued alot as it shows you are willing to work hard and get the task completed. Your employer would value this because he knows you are working hard, your members of staff would value this as they will think you are a pleasure to work with and know you could also help them and your client would value this as they know they are getting the best advice and help. It is important to be determinded in your role because its on you to get the job done.

 

Confident

 
Confidence is key is your role as you will be taking charge of tasks and this will require you to be confident if you do not show that you are confident in your role, your employer might not think that you are right for the role, this is why the employer highly values this role. You have to be confident in your own work so that you are doing it right. If you didnt have confidence in your own work, you would not be working to the best of your own ability. The client would value you being confident as it gives a sense of reassurence as they would know you know what you’re talking about.
